How we compare (methodology)

This page explains how crypto.co.uk compares platforms. In short: consistently, neutrally, and without scores or rankings.

Our approach

We describe each platform using the same neutral categories so you can read them side by side. Because crypto details change frequently and directly affect your money, we deliberately avoid publishing fees, availability, or ratings we cannot keep current — and we point you to each provider’s own website to confirm the present position.

What we look at

  • General description and what a platform offers.
  • Publicly stated security and account-protection practices.
  • Whether the platform serves UK users (to be confirmed with the provider).
  • Overall ease of use and experience, described neutrally.

How we’re funded

crypto.co.uk may, in future, earn affiliate commissions when you sign up to a provider through some links. This would never change how platforms are listed or described, and we publish no scores or rankings that such arrangements could influence.

Crypto is high risk and largely unregulated in the UK. You could lose all the money you invest, and most crypto is not protected by the FSCS or the Financial Ombudsman Service. This is educational information only, not financial advice. Only invest what you can afford to lose.
